Thank you!

And I fixed the bug on the other game now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. :)

Thank you very much! I made this for a game jam so it definitely has some bugs. I will try to fix that one for you. :)

I would love to hear what you think of another game I made for a different jam https://mrpretzel.itch.io/lumis-nightmare

Thank you! I'm sorry the gamepad didn't work entirely. Thanks for the feedback, it really helps me grow. :)

Thank you so much!

This was a lot of fun! Great job. I did find a bug on level 5 where if I pressed E (which there was no need to do but I did out of habit from the other levels) it froze the whole game and I couldn't find a way to unfreeze it. Someone else mentioned it too but I kept trying to drop the smoke clouds with left click. Overall though, great entry! Thank you for sharing it

This was awesome! I really enjoyed this. I do feel like the difficulty jump from level 3 to 4 was pretty high though.

This was so much fun! I suck at billiards so I really appreciated the different settings you added. Thank you for sharing this game :)

I love the idea of this game! I did run into a bug though; after I died I respawned outside of the playing area.

This was fun! It was probably just me but I wish there was some sort of notice about what counts as contraband. Like I could guess for normal real world situations, but when an alien is shipping something I thought "who knows in this world what counts as contraband".

I'm sorry it got too hard. I don't have play testers so it was just me and I was worried that my judgement of difficulty was skewed :(

Thank you so much! Yeah, the boss could use some variation, but I am still really new and figured the one attack was a reasonable thing for me to pull off with the time limit. Maybe after judging I will go add some more.

Thank you! Don't worry, you do wake Lumi from his nightmare if you make it through the 10 levels ;)

I was told during the last one that we could edit the page but not the game. I've been updating my page with known bugs as people report them to me.

Thank you for making this controller compatible! And I too had the problem of the try again button not working. Fun game though :)

Thank you so much for making this controller compatible! This was a fun game and I thought a good take on the theme. :)

Short but sweet. Great job on the intro. I would recommend putting the controls on the game page though. I didn't read the submission page carefully at first and struggled to figure out how to fight the water tribe.

I loved the look of this game! I had a lot of fun playing it. Thanks for sharing :)

I really liked the audio in this! Thanks for sharing the game!

Thank you so much. I went back to look at the code to find out why the main menu was behaving that way - I used a "jump" input to mark a click and forgot that I had also set the up arrow to function as a jump... I'll have to fix that after the voting. Thanks for finding it and letting me know. And I agree default should have been to the easy mode and have an option for hard. I just implemented that too late in the process to risk swapping it. :)

I really liked how you navigated the menus by moving the character around, but I think I could have used some sort of tutorial or at least more of an explanation of what was going on. I was a bit confused the entire time.

I really liked the level select area and the way you incorporated the GWJ elements into that area. The visuals were great as well. I saw you said it ended up more of a prototype. I think this could easily be expanded and be a fun full game.

That soundtrack was great! I felt like I was going on an epic journey. I do wish there was some sort of feedback during the combat though, like flashing when hit or a sound, just something so I could tell if I was actually making contact with the enemy.

Thank you so much for playing! I was worried that I started to ramp up the difficulty too much when I added the acid/goo. If I continue work on it later I will have to adjust it.

This was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing it. I found the controls a little difficult as I am not good with WASD, I wish the arrow keys had been an option, too.

The way you worked in the UI was fantastic. Very fun!

Thank you! I like the idea of a timer to show when platforms will change colors - it just didn't occur to me when making the game. I saw something like that done in another game submitted (Colour Platformer by jbalsby https://jbalsby.itch.io/colour-platformer ) and immediately regretted not doing that :)

I thought about doing different skills for each color but that was the gimmick in the last game I made and I didn't want to be a one trick pony. Thanks for playing and the feedback :)

Thank you for your feedback. It is definitely a slower play right now. It seems that in general people dislike the color changing platforms. I should have done something to make them more obvious or at least different from the normal platforms. Thanks again.

I agree, I need to add some way to know what color is coming up and a way to know if a platform is going to change colors or not. Thank you for playing and helping me grow. :)

Thank you for your feedback. I'm new to game dev and didn't know how to add coyote time. Because of your comment I sat down and learned - it was easier than I thought. Thanks again! :)

I'm new to making games and have 0 musical or ability to make SFX. I was hoping to find someone to team up with for audio. Someone who won't be upset if I can't finish the game on time.

In the past I've used music and sound effects that I've found here on itch (which I can keep doing) but I would like to try to take it up a notch.

I've made a couple of DevLog posts for the game and posted a demo if you want to check it out before deciding. https://mrpretzel.itch.io/lumis-nightmare

Thanks :)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the intro; I threw it together on the last day (along with the main menu, transition, and victory and game over notices). I meant to have the abilities work better together but just couldn't get it right.

I don't really know what you mean by "4.4 triggers", could you explain that? I am super new to this hobby and have no background in programming/coding so I am often at a loss with the terminology.

This was fun! And I love the audio. Just a fantastic job. That a capella lightning sound was fantastic.

Thanks for sharing this, I thought it was a very unique game. I enjoyed cleaning off the artifacts and it was clear which tool I should use at each point. I will say that the music felt too fast and made me feel like I was racing against something.

I really liked the art style and the audio in this game. It took me a while to figure out that I was supposed to match the patterns and that I could switch to the map that gave a general idea of what icon was in what region, but I just couldn't remember the patterns I was aiming for well enough to pull off more than the shortest matches. It was a bit hard for me, but I liked the idea behind it. Thanks for sharing it.

My first play through I almost immediately found an artifact and then was trying to figure out if there was a pause button and exited by accident. Second playthrough, I wandered around for like 10 minutes without finding an artifact nor the gorilla (I had a camera drift issue that time that caused me to constantly turn slightly right so that contributed to being lost). I finally found an artifact and then got immediately killed by the gorilla. It was definitely spooky though. Good job!

Thank you so much for playing my game! I completely agree with all of your feedback. To see someone play it without me thereto clear up any confusion was incredibly helpful. I'm sorry it was confusing at first but thank you for giving it a second playthrough.

I liked this game, but as someone else mentioned the Enter Helicopter button and restart button being right next to each other got frustrating. Clever puzzle making though. Good job!

It was my first game jam too. Congrats on finishing. This game was a lot of fun. Took me a couple tries to make it to the temple. I'm not good at games with waves of enemies so having the firing happen automatically really helped me out.

This was a lot of fun. I liked how after a while I had to buy an upgrade to my jump to continue it made my coin collecting feel productive. And I'm going to by humming that song for a long time. Thanks for sharing it.
