Wow, this was great! The visuals were fantastic and I love being able to play with a gamepad! Thermal vision is an interesting idea but I wish it worked between rooms better, you could keep it up, but the camera shift made it jarring (not sure how to deal with that) and if there were enemies, obviously being in thermal mode was not ideal.
I didn’t understand the chasing enemy’s attack, it just seemed like I got hurt randomly. Since respawning was quick, it wasn’t a big deal but did detract from the combat, also making block not feel useful.
Kudos on the generated levels. That was something I was hoping to get in but wasn’t able to get it working well enough for the jam. Great work!
