No, clearly no one understands what I’m saying but that’s fine. I’m stepping away from the Western community. The amount of misogyny here is honestly heartbreaking. So whatever, keep mistagging everything. Who cares anymore? Make a BL game with a female protagonist and call it yaoi apparently because accuracy doesn’t matter
I think what the original commentor was attempting to say is that an otome is classified as a game targeted towards woman with a female mc. Typically, anything other would be classified as an otoge or amare game. I don't think it matters that the otome tag is listed on this game as there is the option for a fem mc. However, they are right, if there was no fem mc it would not be an otome game. I do think many in the fandom are a bit fed up with the term being used as an umbrella for romance games because that's not what an otome game is. In my personal opinion though this game can use to otome game tag though.
