This is awesome, thank you for taking the time to write this! I'm really happy to hear that the art style clicked so well, since it's something we've spent a lot of time refining.
In regards to the feedback, we actually just put out an update that completely reworks the tutorial, and swaps out one of the more difficult songs for an easier one with the same mechanic. Keeping the difficulty curve manageable is something we're still working on, but hopefully this is a step in the right direction.
Again, it's really awesome to see actual in-depth feedback. I wish you good luck on your own rhythm game! (^^)=)
