Theme of this jam is candy!

I'm guessing that the theme doesn't have to be exactly candy but rather about candy?
e.g. a game that revolves around (is about) eating candy, instead of the game just being candy everything (i.e. the background, characters, floor e.c.t. doesn't have to be of candy design, but at least one important aspect of the game has to be something around candy like the player having to eat candy in order to stay alive?)
Well here's an amazing coincidence the candy theme.... a different game jam has a cake theme. So my artist friend and I went for cake vs candy enemies. It too is a week long jam that ends some time tomorrow. Since both jams are only 1 week and all assets were made in that 1 week can I just use that game as an entry if I enter it when the first deadline is up? So we'd just work a week.... but we had a 1 or 2 day head start and submit an entry 1 or 2 days from your deadline.
*edit* Looks like its not stopping the other entrants. One game is in 5 jams while another was from 30 days ago.
