I actually used my own growling voice a couple years ago that was used for another game I made and modified the recording with Audacity.

Thank you for the criticisms about the game. To explain the mechanic in better detail, the monster starts off slow, but gets faster every minute up around the player's speed. I did have an idea to have the monster go faster than you at a certain time length and you would be able to pick up flash bombs that randomly spawn around the map to stun the monster. But I was sick during the first four to five days of the game jam, so I didn't have time to work on it sadly.

I will keep that in mind once I gather all the critiques during the voting period and then work on the game for an update.

Huh, cool. I also just breathed into the mic and then turned down the pitch for my monster, so i can kinda relate.

But then that makes more sense, i guess i didn't play for long enough to notice it, which of course is my fault.

And i understand being sick for four to five days, my first game jam i started with 3 days left.

But i did still really like the game :D even with my criticisms
