the MDGF Discord no longer allows people to post anything or react to posts, if their accounts aren't smartphone-verified.
I've got good reasons to not use a smartphone at all.

well, it doesn't say i'm blocked. it says
"You must verify your identity by phone before you can send messages in this server."
I'm on this server for over a year and participated in discussions and memes.
now suddenly i'm no longer allowed to.
if they had blocked me, the message would clearly state that instead.
Also having 2-factor auth via phone active in discord will make it more valuable to hackers and additionally makes retrieving a hacked account near impossible.
