Although the development log's most recent release is from sep 5th 2024 the more information tab states that the last update was in march 8th 2025. I'm not exactly clear on what this means and to be honest it makes me hesitant to purchase or support. 

The most important thing to me is how long a in dev game has been released and how many updates its received. It basically tells me how lively the game is and how likely the dev will be to complete it. 

To further clarify I'm not sure if the games received a update in the last year or last couple months.

The dev is working on stuff, and posted a video of what's changed in some comments below, which it has changed drastically. The dev is basically creating a whole new game at this point, so I would hold off on purchasing until he releases update #5. It looks promising, and they said it was close to release, but it's been that way for a little while now. To answer your other question, no, it has not received an update since 05 Sept. of 2024.

I am working on basically the "last" update of the game. After I release it - it's no longer gonna be in active development as it was for the last couple years. It's my first game so I made a lot of dumb mistakes along the way. I can tell you for sure that a game of this scale should NOT take more than 8 months to develop fully, from the first prototype build to the official release.

I will most likely release couple more minor updates eventually, adding new characters and some tech stuff for mod support I guess if it'll be requested.

But yeah it's not a good game, I consider the previous versions to be bad, and this latest update I'm working on to be DECENT, good enough, but not actually good. It could've been much more if I had more experience when I initially started, but it was kinda unavoidable so I'm just grateful at least some people managed to enjoy it and find it interesting. I hope to make better games in the future, after I'm done with Innventure.

Okay thank you for the response with the information from this point and the other kind poster I'll be buying this game and playing it. I greatly appreciate everyone's honesty.
