The time it took between 1.5 and 1.6 was 91 days, it's been about 88 so far. Even though the author promised a much earlier release it still doesn't make it any more likely.

Honestly banning art directly has never been a popular regime since people really enjoy art. But banning art you don't like has. Every seriously tyrannical regime has done it since time immoral and the only reason you can't do so in America is because of all the people who have died standing up for what they thought is right (and the ideology those people's deaths helped inspire.) Even something as silly as starmaker story would get you hanged in a place like Iran. That seems like an overblown and seriously ridiculous notion to first world citizens but it's very possible in places without explicit freedom of artistic expression.
You couldn't say you have freedom of speech if your senator could cut your tongue off if you said something bad about him right? That's basically what artistic freedom is. We could easily backslide right back to 50 years ago where we deplatform and harass someone to death because their game was too sexually explicit or criticized the government.
I have no intention of collecting attention or validation, I don't care if people make me a martyr, a hero, a villain, or rightly continuing thinking of me as a nobody. I wasn't born into this world desperately clinging to anyone but my mother and my father. I was simply naked cold and probably quite miserable after someone smacked me on the ass.
If someone told me they would shoot me if I didn't let them censor this game or any other game I would 100% be a bitch and just let it go. But I'm not going to let it get to that point, so I say something while i still can say it comfortably.
I wrote several papers on the subject matter in college while I was studying; I had the AI summarize and revise said papers to make it simple enough for people like you to understand without strenuous reading.
If it exists today its because millions of people died to make it happen, that includes everything from a toaster to you as a living creature. People like you have existed since Shakespeare and that's why he ended up dead in a ditch instead of rich.

Artistic freedom exists because of the people who have died for it over thousands of years often in grotesque and brutal ways like degloving or burning alive, but a useful idiot like you who only knows how to sit on their ass and consume what others make for them wouldn't know anything about that so no one can blame you.
In fact its smart people's fault for building society so comfortable and safe even someone like you who used to be weeded out by evolution gets to reproduce.
Sick society condemns someone for their passion and desire for freedom, what else is new? Certainly not the low IQ mouth breathers enforcing the will of others who wouldn't even piss on you if you were burning alive. I can't blame them though because I wouldn't.
*Also the irony to mock someone for being a gooner while you're here on this page commenting, you think we believe you just blew in here from stupid town and you're better than all of us? Maybe if you put as much effort into thinking as you do masturbating, you'd be capable of understanding what im saying.
This is probably the best thing to happen for nsfw devs, I mean it is disheartening to see an entire industry trying to tear down and burn something i love. But it also artificially cuts the supply and increases the demand much higher. Meaning the devs that can handle it won't be starving anytime soon.
People desperately want to see this dev and his/her team succeed. Now it's not even because they make good games -which they do- it's about seeing david beat goliath.
These people were already censoring and condemning nsfw devs behind the scenes, its only now that they've declared outright war.
This is not a downfall, its a opportunity to unify and unite to clean out a corrupt system. This entire platform, this entire community of hundreds of millions of people wants to see these people fall on their swords.
Remember you are not the first and you will not be the last, but you can be one of the few that wins.
If you hide, if you sulk, if run away you WILL LOSE. The only way to win is to stand tall and be free. Do not go quietly into the night, rage and you might just be heard screaming in the storm. Reach out boldly to the people who WANT to hear you, they exist and I am one of them.
Honestly It kind of makes me a little bit annoyed such a great game is being put on the back burner, but instead of making a big deal about it I just decided to vote with my wallet and sponsor it on Patreon. That's my way of encouraging the dev to want to work more on the game that I love.
Specifically, because it's one of the few games that actually integrates romance and kinky sex which is kind of apt for the world and its setting. Makes me feel so much more invested in what's actually happening.
Put it like this if you just turned this game into a brothel sim and removed anna you would have nothing left. Her journey (and maybe some future prospects) is what makes it so interesting and fun.
No insult to the devs but the slow ass navigation system and the event system (It's kind of cool to be honest, but making a app for the player to keep track of events or even the schedule of characters is badly needed. 99% of the reason its so frustrating isnt because you have to wait for the event its that there's so many its really hard to keep track of just from memory. The calendar is helpful but it doesnt keep track of anything besides the quests and visits + you have to be in your room to use it) would have killed a lesser game.
I don't even mind the visual novel element, but most of them are just really lazy and linear. It's like you're just reading a book and clicking to get to the next page over and over. When there's actual choices, gameplay, and stats that's when it gets interesting.
It's to the point that alot of people just use the visual novel tag as "this is a book I made now come read it" when it's actually (in my opinion) a tag that means the game uses text and simple backgrounds along with images. Where a straight up novel game would be something like trials in tainted space where most interactions are actually just words and very few pictures and images.
I think the reason they don't want to implement her wearing her slutty outfits in the house is they would need to generate unique scenes for every single one of them and for the 20 or 40 outfits in the studio we're talking about 100-250 new pictures of her in those clothes.
It would probably be preferable to just give the player new options in the photoshoot to move to different places in the house or even take on even more positions/angles. That would reduce the workload from 100s of new pictures to just 30-40. 0
(Maybe I'm wrong and they use an overlay workflow, then it would be pretty reasonable to at least include a few more outfits around the house.)
I kind of feel like the emphasis on threesomes by default dilutes the punch of her slut route. It's a compromise to keep the romance fans happy, makes it feel less hurtful to them. But why the hell should you design the slut route to appeal to the romance seekers? I want it to be like charlottes invite to the studio. You get the choice between letting her go to town on anna or joining in with her.
Disappointed from the lack of slutty options for uploading to anna's starmaker page. It would be cool to be able to take pictures of her at the starcon or park being used by other guys. Yeah, it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's still a big part of the game and its appeal. How many games can you obsessively lewd your harem and horde them? Seems like Billions, but there's only one game where you can turn your waifu into a "star" and share her to gain reputation or resources. This one.
it's a game with the express tag of "sharing" right on the front landing. It's a pretty well-built game 2 because you're never forced to lend or share. It's completely a choice you make. So, raging out over optional content for other people with different tastes than you is... childish.
Plus, it's a video game and she's not real, you can't be cucked by a fqkin piece of code lmfao. My honest advice is go get a girlfriend so you stop freaking out and learn to read the room.
Although the development log's most recent release is from sep 5th 2024 the more information tab states that the last update was in march 8th 2025. I'm not exactly clear on what this means and to be honest it makes me hesitant to purchase or support.
The most important thing to me is how long a in dev game has been released and how many updates its received. It basically tells me how lively the game is and how likely the dev will be to complete it.
To further clarify I'm not sure if the games received a update in the last year or last couple months.
we aren't speaking Japanese or Greek, the same terms can have completely different contexts when used outside of their original language or cultures.
For instance Glass/Glas
Welsh: glas = blue
(more direct modern translation for glass in welsh is gwydr)
Irish & Scottish Gaelic: glas = green (or more specifically natural green)
(more direct modern translation is gloine and glainne respectively)
You come to our playground, shit in our sandbox. And then have the nerve to say your favorite gay guilty pleasure is being hijacked? Go play another game with your cuntboys and your futanari and shut the fuck up.
Futa=Chick with dick
futas arent transgender, they arent pre op, they arent men, go fuck yourself. I am gatekeeping you because you're a cancer.
(I called it a gay guilty pleasure because you're obviously a insecure closeted man projecting his guilt onto us and hijacking the conversation by screaming about how gay it is for a futa to not have a pussy. You want futa to have pussies so you dont feel gay for liking dicks. You should make your own game instead of coming here and shitting on someone making a indie game you selfish leech.)
Thanks for asking it's because "you goddamn phobic sit down shut up and obey me!!!" is not a valid argument and you're stupid, nothing you say has any substance, and your definitions distort the meaning of the word futanari to the point no one has any clue wtf you're even talking about.
Chick with dick simple as. "b-b-but chicks have to have pussies" yeah then men would have to have dicks and that would make you gay by your own logic for liking futanari.
You do realize accusing me of being gen alpha implies you think I'm max 14 years old. Since you want to make such giant leaps in logic in bad faith if we used your own reasoning and emotionally driven name calling, we could very well call you a pedophile for saying such odd things to someone who you think is max 14.
"No, words have meanings. The more specific a word's meaning is, the more useful it is." I agree which is why futa means chick with dick. Someone who looks feminine and has a penis and testicles. IF you want to doggedly insist a futanari is a hermaphrodite only. You would be saying in essence that Dick girls with pussies are the same thing as cuntboys with dicks. You're merging such completely different concepts together with so few similarities because IT IS YOU WHO IS DESTROYING MEANING.
"The same applies to words like "nazi," "fascist," "genocide," and "pedo" :)" LMFAO "pedophile doesn't mean anything because people call me it so much."
yeah buddy the more you use words the less meaning they have, that must be why no one has any conception of ("the," "be," "to," "of," "and," "a," "in," "that," "have," and "I") being that they are the most used words in the English language.
What actually distorts the meaning of a word is inappositely using it where it doesn't apply. Which you LITERALLY are doing. You're sitting here projecting some bullshit you came up with to "want to hijack it."
TDLR stfu you hypocritical whining baby
