Oh, the paper boy nostalgia hit! I enjoyed reminiscing while being chased by the monster. Fun little game. A few things to potentially improve: The graphics don't really seem to match, e.g. the high resolution letter box in between the pixelated landscape - sticking with one resolution for everything will create a more consistent look. I'm lacking a visual feedback for whether I hit or missed with my paper and couldn't quite figure out where I'm supposed to aim. The controls felt slightly awkward because the visuals (speed lines) didn't really match me going fast or slow at times. Regardless, good job making this game!

Thanks for the feedback!

I'll fix some issues you've mentioned(the graphics and controls).

About the paper, I agree it could be confusing to check for a hit, I've only used the labels that show how much paper you've left and how much you've delivered, I was hoping that would be enough.

I submitted my entry despite having a few bugs and not fully polishing the game so hence the inconsistencies😅.
