Thanks, I realise what I was doing wrong is that I pressed Left Mouse Button (instead of Right Mouse Button) when a dialog was opened which I think occasionally does nothing but in general means the following boxes after the first one won't appear.
I played the game again and it all made sense now, the game is cool. ;)
