I really like this game, but the buggy input makes it difficult to play. I managed to win it while always sticking up for my employees :)
Here's some tips for others to play:
- To deliver the food to the bowls you need to first click on the employee at the station (a blue particle effect will play to show they are selected), then click in an extremely specific spot on the station to pick up the food, and finally click on the bowl to send it to. I found the specific spot to click on the food was at the bottom of the green circle - if you click too high nothing happens, and if you click too low then the recipe menu pops up and you will have to make it an extra time before you can try picking it up again.
- To avoid the bowl and ingredient lists overlapping you can restart the game (refresh the page) then fullscreen the game using the Unity player's fullscreen button before it finishes loading. You must press it before loading finishes and avoid Itch.io's fullscreen button as that doesn't work.
- The Windows executable build appears to be missing files.
Aside from the difficulty to pick up the items, I found it frustrating that the employees would sometimes stop their current action. This seems to be triggered when another employee gets near them, but since there's not many options to avoid this and a lack of feedback, it leads to an annoying and confusing experience.
The art style is charming and fun, and I enjoyed the interactions at the end of the week where you get to decide what to do. The music and audio were also nice. With a few fixes the game would be a lot more accessible. Great work!
