I appreciate your thoughts! I think lore and exposition ultimately boils down to reader tolerance, but as you say there are ways of making it more palatable.
I’m obviously biased, but I certainty encourage you to keep going as there are narrative constraints placed on Ravy’s ability in part to handle that concern.
Ok I pushed through the part I disliked and it was decent. I'd say characters are a strong part of the vn, and the lore is cool but the combination of unique lore, every 5th word being a made up word I need to memorize like 'kaike' and 'kal' (which i think meant shit or god?), and every second character being a master manipulator playing 5d chess plus our mc being an unreliable narrator with his own memories being fragmented.. leads to a bit of a confusing experience
Interested where the plot will go, I see the mc's ability might be a way to become what they call talespinners which sounded like some strong demigods in this universe, which is kinda cool
