What about scum saving/loading makes it different than normal saving/loading
scum save always saves to a particular slot, and doesn't have you verify that you want to overwrite it.
scum load loads from that slot, and also has fewer steps.
in other games, it is called a "quick save/quick load"
but i call it a scum save/scum load
because i'm quirky

Full disclosure, from now on I am going to mentally rename it SPLOR save and SPLOR load.
