What was your issue with the controls?
About the LoveJS export, it is mostly a matter of being aware of the limitations. This game was written focused for a web export, so it was completely straightforward.
The controls are tight if you use wasd with z, and x. I'm using Wick Editor at the moment, but my next project will be built in the Love2d framework.
Oh, you're supposed to use J and K when using WASD for movement, the X and Z is for when you're using the Arrows
