bandage has a high chance of curing wounded status. ive found them in a hole and in the caravan. i havent seen plantain cure. the combat map wraps for player but not for bullet/enemy, but its still easy to get hit. i havent tried knife+food but i really like traps cuz you evenually catch a deer.
