As some people pointed out, there might be something off with the watermelon collision. Just a quick tip, you could look into whether any heavy functions are being called when the melons break. Try to figure out exactly what’s going on under the hood. Maybe even ask Bezi for help. AI might be able to detect the issue… or who knows, maybe it’s even part of the problem! I was really impressed with the high definition of the renderings. The UI and music could use a bit more polish, but for a game jam, it's totally understandable that you need to move fast.
