Hello! I streamed your game, I found the Vx Ace look working surprisingly well in a MV/MZ game, they helped a lot to settle the atmosphere.
As for the gameplay, the idea for the grid battles is interesting on paper, but on practice it doens't matter a lot, since it's only relevant for a bunch of magic spells that you can't use every turn. Also there is no benefit in placing units tactically on your side, since I got my black mage focused even in the backline, and ended up dying almost every battle. The enemy targeting priority is very annoying.
The marked where you sell items felt weird, almost unnecessary since it requires too much sperimentation before being able to use it - i stopped using it after barely selling anything.
I appreciated the short scenes between some nights, even if the writing felt more like a visual novel, but the rest of the game is not, so felt kinda off. I was also pretty confused by the fact you change city after some days, risking to end up in a bad situation if you don't level up enough the previous days.
Overall, I was pretty curious on exploring the game map, since it opened up in a lot of ways. but the battle system really didn't get me involved. But I liked the circle that shown how close the next battle is.
