That's kinda strange, actually it never happened before that a Renpy project was flagged as malware to me.
Maybe you could recompile it and check against false positives on VirusTotal?

Windows defender is known for making false positives on nearly every program that isn't affiliated with it's own also the code could be considered a little invasive because it uses system information to track stuff so I could see why but I can assure you it's safe if you look in the pyw file source there is nothing malicious going on
