Have you met the roommates partner? This would need to happen first, they should show up at your dorm room at some point.
If/When you get an opportunity to spy on the two of them 'having fun', do so.
After the above has happened, the roommates partner will confront you at some point when you use the dorm shower and start offering dares.
At this point - The roommates partner can show up to offer you a new dare at your dorm room or the dorm shower.

After a few weeks of doing dares without failing any, there should be a sock on your door when heading into your dorm. Come in anyway and don't leave when the roommate tells you to. About a week after that the roommate's partner comes in and asks you a question. Be honest with them, and they'll punish the roommate. A week or 2 after THAT your relationship with the 2 of them should progress.
