Fun game!

I ended up finishing it haha ~

Some feedback:

--> I like the bosses as they had very different designs and patterns.

--> It reminded me a bit of metal slug which is good  times in my opinion :)

--> I think UI can be improved to more easily show my health and ammo on my current weapon. I feel like I had to take a couple seconds to try to read out my HP bar and how much ammo I had on my special weapon, which made me get hurt a few times.

--> Grenades don't feel too strong and hard to know that I had them and barely used them

--> For bosses or future levels it could be neat to add more attack varieties. Like enemies doing AOEs so you have to move out of the way. Or perhaps a tiny bit of platforming (doesn't need to be too difficult)

Found a few potential minor bugs:

1. When I am in a cut scene. I notice my character running in place.

2. When fighting bosses there is an invisible wall. I think for players it'd be better to highlight that it's a boundary. I've seen some games making it arcade-like where it's just an obvious glowing boundary, but I've also seen games where they try to make the invisible wall a piece of the environment where the player cannot traverse it what so ever until they beat the boss.

3. I cheesed the slug boss by sitting on the top of the trucks and shot at him

Area of effect~
i.e. Poison gas that might cause damage if you stand in it, that'd eventually dissipate
