Enhancement: I just saw there are hints in https://itch.io/t/3603016/updates on how to unlock characters. I had no idea beating levels with/without droids makes a difference. It'd be great to have this info in-game. The locked girls could have a "(?)" circle or be greyed out with the hint being shown on hover or click. Or the circle could just say "lvl5 solo" "lvl8 team" etc. Or the missions screen could have icons next to mission points either to indicate solo/team or showing the unlocked girls' faces and when there are more girls available for that mission.
Enhancement: mark the bombs ui as "training safety" so people don't think controls are broken when they can't use them in training like I did initially.
Enhancement: On PC, it'd be great for usability if button areas would highlight when you mouse-over them and react again, when clicking.
Enhancement: The game is actually playable on phone to a degree. Shooting laser is impossible and shooting rockets/bombs nearly never registers. Buttons would have to be bigger and laser/rockets need a switch that works as if one was to hold down the shoot button. One issue on phone though is that "back" (swipe from right screen border to left on my device) navigates back rather than closing full-screen, making one lose progress easily.
Enhancement: It'd be cool to be able to see the no-music loading screen with the 3 sexy girls posing (not the UFO abduction title screen). Maybe a gallery in future games where you would also be able to re-watch scenes like the gorgeous post-win postcard. The same would be great for battle enemy sprites, since at least I can never appreciate their animations in the heat of battle.
Enhancement: Ability to full-screen at any moment or at least from all menus would be nice. As would be a in-battle pause screen.
Enhancement: mark previously used multiple-choice answers as unsuccessful/successful
Small issue: controls screen doesn't tell about Left Arrow shooting laser (poor left mouse buttons)
Small issue: if you make the game window narrow (<960px) on itch, it cuts off the game on left/right
Small issue: level2hard seems to have some weird intense knocking sound going on that clips the speakers (the enemies shooting all in sync)
Small issue: levl3hard solo leads to extreme audio overlaps if you let the enemies overtake. One solution would be to limit the times the same sound file may be played at the same time but this might require building a sound manager.
Bug: it looks like the game pulls multiple megabytes (likely 10-15) of unused music and image files from older titles that max out at 2.11 MB in individual size. If this is right, fixing this might require cleaning up the Construct project or perhaps it can be told some other way to not deliver these unused files. You can see the files by opening the dev tools, switching to the "Network" tab, reloading the page and starting the game, sorting the files by size. Strangely, the (as far as I can tell) unused audio files only show up in Firefox. The PNGs from previous titles show up in Chrome and Firefox there.
Bug: if you get shot down and press 'Finish' and let the animation finish, the 'Return to base' button does not work. You have to re-start one of the animations first. Both training and missions are affected.
Unsolicited idea: future games could include a cosmetics shop for furnishing the lovemaking den so you can bone the girls in more environments like the sky turtle rescue bed (could unlock around the time you max out your ship).
I think the game is very playable and love the style and audio. Maybe future new players or future games might benefit from some of the above, maybe just indirectly. (ヅ)
