Loved the game design, it was fun and memorable. I did get hardstuck on one level (I think hallways 2 or 3?) but spent a good amount of time trying, and I thought the level progression was well done. One thing I would have liked was a quicker way to respawn, since this (at least for me) relied on a lot of experimentation!

Thanks doomy! Good call on the respawn time, that is definitely planned. Appreciate the feedback on the levels too. There is a level select menu, but maybe I should add a skip level entry too...

Can confirm that the Linux native build plays perfectly well :) Took a moment until I grasped the mechanics, but once I did, I played through the entire game and was entertained the whole time!

Since each level can easily require multiple tries, I would have appreciated an option to skip everything that comes between failing and retrying the level, i.e. disabling most of the death animation, the “try again” menu, and the countdown at the beginning of the level, in favor of just reloading the level on death after, say, 0.5 seconds of the death animation.

I love how the levels all got sequels that introduced new twists to them. IMO, this way of designing them is cooler than 10 completely new levels. I also liked how many levels required thinking outside the box. For example, the last level had me scratching my head for a while until I figured it out, in a good way! Good job designing the puzzles :D

Thanks Jan! Good feedback that I plan on incorporating into a post jam release! Also. thanks for confirming success on the linux build.

Very cool game, I definitely would have expected a shmup if I hadn’t read your description, but was still surprised to find it much more of a puzzle game. I only played the web version, so it’s a shame the UI didn’t render properly, but I could see from the screenshots how it was supposed to look. I think a simpler first level might have been better to introduce the mechanics, but the levels were well designed and I had fun working out where the safe spots were. I think adding some background music and explosion sfx would really enhance the experience!

Thanks! I appreciate you providing feedback even though it was broken!
