I really liked the concept, but the UI needs some work. At one point I had a straight 1-5, and I think I was expected to pick a dice to roll. Obviously I didn't want to all any, so I deselected all of them, which apparently meant to roll all of them completely getting rid of the straight. There's definitely a big difference between being unpredictable but still playable, and just downright random. I don't even know if that was an intended mechanic, an accident, or if I just don't understand the rules of Yahtzee, but it was a frustrating moment that made me lose trust in the game. Still, interesting idea and I would like to see it expanded and refined. :3

Thanks for feedback. Yeah I made it so that if you select nothing you roll all, as I found it frustrating to select all the dice all the time. First roll is always made with all dices. If it was the very first roll you made this round - those are the actual yahzee rules. My biggest mistake is that before the first roll dices should show nothing, and they don't, so it seams like you ve rolled smth, when you didn't. Also - if it wasn't your first roll, you should be able to claim your combo by locking it on the left panel. If you already locked big straight you can't lock it again (again, normal yahzee rules). If you rolled the dices and you couldn't lock the combo then it is a bug. I suppose it's the one I encountered when testing, but I was unable to fix it, as it seams to pop up randomly some times (I have no idea what's causing it). Sorry for the inconvenience. I hope you enjoyed the game at least a bit.
Yeah it may have been a bug because I couldn't lock in the straight and it was the second roll. I know because I did select and reroll at least one die before getting the combo, but the combo didn't light up. I think it was 5, 3, 4, 2, 1. Maybe it somehow didn't detect it. It wasn't something I could reproduce, so not sure. Either way, you're already well aware of the issues and got some good solutions in mind, so I think it wouldn't be hard to turn this into a really slick, fun experience. :3
i guess it was a weird bug I tried to fix then. It seams to appear randomly, so some complex interaction of things must be happening underneath. I am sure that 5,4,3,2,1 straight is detectable, but the back seams to lock all combos - not like the player locks them, just making it impossible to lock any combo. It seams to deactivate the buttons somehow
