i guess it was a weird bug I tried to fix then. It seams to appear randomly, so some complex interaction of things must be happening underneath. I am sure that 5,4,3,2,1 straight is detectable, but the back seams to lock all combos - not like the player locks them, just making it impossible to lock any combo. It seams to deactivate the buttons somehow

looking foreward to that update then ;)

Thanks for feedback. Yeah I made it so that if you select nothing you roll all, as I found it frustrating to select all the dice all the time. First roll is always made with all dices. If it was the very first roll you made this round - those are the actual yahzee rules. My biggest mistake is that before the first roll dices should show nothing, and they don't,  so it seams like you ve rolled smth, when you didn't.  Also - if it wasn't your first roll, you should be able to claim your combo by locking it on the left panel. If you already locked big straight you can't lock it again (again, normal yahzee rules). If you rolled the dices and you couldn't lock the combo then it is a bug. I suppose it's  the one I encountered when testing, but I was unable to fix it, as it seams to pop up randomly some times (I have no idea what's causing it). Sorry for the inconvenience. I hope you enjoyed the game at least a bit.

The game is fun. I love the graphic style and sound design (excluding ambient), it feels great when the timer hits "just right" (when I just segregated all animals and after 1 second I get another rule to wrap my head around). Just a few extra thoughts:
1) Categories of "animals" are a bit confusing to me (especially 'shapes' and 'symbols') but its maybe just because I am no native speaker

2) Ambient doesn't fit for me, especially as game progresses and I have more and more animals to controll, the calm ambient giving the  "relax game" vibe doesn't really cut it.

3) It feels like the time of each "turn" should be more tuned to the numbers of animals, at some points it fits just right  but sometimes its way off (especially at the beggining when I have my 3 guys, already segregated and wait for another 27 second staring at the screen
The game itself is a fun concept :D

Thanks a lot! Yeah you re totally right, next time I ll try to code quicklier and leave more tmie for game testing

Thank you! Yeah I know it needs some more animations and effects in general, but honestly I am no artist and the UI alone took me a lot to figure out. I will be more then happy to work on animations and music after the jam is over tho, especially if people like this game :)

thanks for the info, I will remove the .exe then
