Dear Kevin,
Thank you for reaching out.
I’m the leader of our team, which is composed of enthusiastic high school and middle school students who are passionate about game development. After we submitted our game, we invited many of our classmates to play it and share their feedback. We’ve continued to work on improving the game and hope to release future updates.
I sincerely apologize for not staying engaged after our submission on June 1st. Beginning on June 2nd, I participated in a rigorous summer camp program at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), which has kept me extremely busy. As a result, I was unable to follow the jam’s progress or interact with the community as much as I had hoped.
This was our first time joining a game jam. Our main goal was to learn, grow, and gain experience from this opportunity. While the disqualification is disappointing, we completely respect your decision and appreciate the chance to have taken part in the PPJJGG Game Jam.
Thank you again for organizing such a meaningful and inspiring event. We’ve learned a lot from this experience and look forward to participating in future jams.
Warm regards,
Pai Zheng
