Story - Mysterious and lovely! I really enjoyed exploring the world with a random buddy that happened to be wandering around when I logged it. It definitely gave me Journey vibes. I wish there was a simple way to communicated with the other player! A small chirp or some kind of vocal indicator that I could use to signal my buddy to something I discover.

Mechanics - Took me a hot second to figure out that I had to use F and THEN my mouse would be unlocked and able to interact with the world. I think just making a simple interact trigger would be much more intuitive for players. My buddy and I spent a good 15 minutes wandering around the apple area trying to figure out how to pick up the apples lol.

Theme - I didn't get a whole lot of generosity from it. Most of the time it felt like solving puzzles so we could advance deeper into the temple. But it was fun to do it with a friend!

Audio/Visual - That model was super cool and unique! I also really dug the music. Great job!

Overall - Definitely more fun with a friend, as you mentioned. I was lucky enough to encounter someone randomly and together we puzzled our way through. It was a really great experience being able to share the joys and frustrations with someone. Awesome job!

I think the generous part of it comes from the fact that those of us in the beginning unlock the final ending for the players who follow. We generously give them our eternal pray statue bodies so they can move on. At least, that's my interpretation.

That's exactly what we were aiming for. :)

Ohhhh! That makes sense! I didn't realize that the bodies persisted - that's so awesome!

I'm so happy that you were able to experience the game with another player! I was worried that players would be too spread out to find anyone else. I really appreciate your in-depth feedback, thank you for that. I would have loved to incorporate some sort of communication, something like Half + Half that takes your mic input and turns it into nonsense would have been super fun to make.
