Also the MC could travel to an alternate universe where he is also a female, which would be wierd as shit and Chainsaw probably doesn't want any picture that look like the MC until maybe like the end of the game or something.

Actually, Chainsaw's mentioned before off of commenter suggestions that we'd catch the other Gen 7 Legend in an R63 mirror world, and that a female version of the MC would be there.
I don't think getting a picture of that alternate version was ever planned. Not sure if anyone's asked in that much detail though.
