I wish I could help, but yeah, as you can see in the post, I don't have a Mac or even know how they work T_T
With any luck, someone else might see this and come to the rescue!
All I know is that the majority of folks I've managed to speak to who have played on Mac have said that they got it working easiest by downloading and playing through the itch.io launcher. But it's been a while since I had any feedback on Mac stuff, so I don't know if that's still true >.<
