Hey,

What version are you running? Are you running it windows or some linux setup?

Could you email me your most recent log file to juhrjuhr[at]fastmail.co.uk? You can find it in the "Logs" folder of the game folder.

This is quite a strange error. The font files are embedded in the executable and so shouldn't change after compilation.

I gave you the wrong email, sorry (it was late at night for me :( ). The actual one is juhrjuhr[at]fastmail.co.uk (I've edited the original reply too).

I had a thought, are you running the game directly from the zip file without extracting it first?

Hi,

No problem about the email — I’ve just re-sent the log file to juhrjuhr[at]fastmail.co.uk

And yes, I did extract the game from the zip file before running it. I’m using Windows 10, and the error occurred right when I tried to launch the game after extraction.

Just to close this off, Lexar7z helped me out a ton and we discovered some font validation code was using a locale based character conversion which lead to validation failure.

This is not fixed in v0.6.4.8 :)
