Okay so do we call it dead now?

Their lack of communication certainly doesn't bode well, but it's a bit early to call the project dead.

Sadly I would assume so. They've not said anything for 7 months now, and they said it would only be a few weeks back then. I don't mean this to be a bitch, but when multiple people bought it on the promise of said updates, I feel like Itch should at least partially refund them.

Well, I certainly wouldn't complain if I got a partial refund, but I doubt that'll happen. Itch doesn't generally do refunds in the first place, though it's happened to me at least once (that was for something much more egregious than this). Plus, buying early access is always a risk (... even if I didn't necessarily know when buying it that it'd be THIS "early access", lol).

Can confirm, got a refund for this recently using the justification that the dev had made promises and then went completely radio-silent for almost a year. I didn't have to do any back-and-forth with anyone, they just refunded me.

Huh, interesting. I'm not sure if that'd work for me since I got this as part of a bundle, most of the items in which seem to be finished projects. Idk, it was only $20 and included a bunch of other assets I might use, so I'm not too beat up about it.
