Honestly this update and explanation is nice to see. I wouldn't call it "bad" communication at all considering some games on this website don't even provide patch notes!
Haha I guess "bad" is subjective. I know it's been a few months since the last update on here so I felt bad about it. There's a few games I follow on here that I just don't know if they're abandoned or not since there are never updates and I didn't want to fall into that category.
