Really liked the game, especially the art and atmospherics. Gameplay was good, love these type of games, but the last hour portion was a little bit rough I think.

What do you mean about "last hour portion was a little bit rough" about difficult or mechanics? Can you explain in more detail?

The darkest before the dawn part was a bit rough because since it sends back all your units to the base, the warriors all ended up taking up more fire at once and since no gatherers were getting wood, it just started a spiral of resource depletion that seemed to be impossible to recover from and the fire went out since the economy crashed, at least in my game.

It's sad that I couldn't balance it properly. I wanted the end of the game to be on the egde of survival. Tell me, was it clear that the embers consume fuel just like the bonfire? The idea was that you need to sacrifice some embers to reduce fuel consumption and survive the last minute

Game was great! Dw about it - yes, it was clear that embers consume fuel, especially warriors and balancing that is key - it just all comes together VERY quick in the last segment and up to that point I’d never sacrificed any ember and my economy was fantastic so I had no idea how and the collapse was too quick to figure it out on the fly
