The concept for this game is… absolutely wild — and I love it! The gameplay loop is designed in a way that lets you play for a long time without getting bored. There are plenty of upgrades and development paths. It’s clear that everything here is well thought out and purposeful.

Visually, the game is cohesive, with a distinct and charming atmosphere. Definitely one of the best games I’ve played during this jam.

A few minor suggestions: I’d increase the pickup range for the poop — right now it feels like you’re pixel hunting. Also, I wasn’t sure what the colored tiles are for.

Ah I'm glad you liked it and thank you for all the compliments, I truly appreciate it!

The pickup range is something that I just forgot to change towards the end of the jam. Oh and the coloured tiles was a visual thing I added whenever food would get spawned in the feeding area. It doesn't serve any purpose other than visuals.

Edit: In the latest bug patch (v0.1.2-alpha) I increased the pickup detection area just a tad, hopefully now it's easier to collect poop!
