Honestly was not expecting such an interesting and well-planned out story. A lot of time stories can end up feeling so disjointed, but I can tell a lot of thought was put into how things would make sense, fit together, and one thing leading into the other. Obviously, there's a bit of stuff getting lost in translation due to the nature of machine translation, but I've seen a lot of games with way worse translation issues.
My favorite character has to be Captain Lexi, with Sue following close behind. Her questline really sold me on this game. I was so happy to see her showing up in Chapter 1 and her not just being limited to a sidequest character, but actually part of the main group.
Though there were some translation issues that popped up during the second quest with her that made me think you were going for a "Anne Bonny" reference (as in, a woman who disguises herself as a man), but I suspect the "misgendering" stuff is simply the machine translation going wonky (I can get some screenshots of this if you wish to correct them.)
The primary issues I noticed in the early game, aside from some assorted translation issues, was that the early animated scenes in the prologue seemed to be done with different AI Gen model compared to the ones in Chapter 1. I hope you eventually go back and re-do those scenes with the current model you use!
My main other issue is the combat. Frankly, it's just not that great. Especially the sheer length of time the encounters take and the numerous bugs. Of the three fights currently in the game (I wouldn't count the arena as a fight), two ended with Welt dead with the other character having negative value numbers of MP (and MP wasn't even visible in one of these fights). The health bar also does NOT show an accurate amount of remaining health.
Personally, I think the entire combat system needs a massive re-work, though a quick "fix" right now would be increasing the damage that both Welt and his companions can do with their attacks, if only to speed up how long these fights can take.
