The game is neat and a lot of love was gone into it good job and I can see the vision of adding difficulty to the game with the wind up animation to the sword , I used similar mechanic in my game ,but I think for a survivor like this if the player has more control and responsive inputs can improve the feel and then for difficulty you can make the zombies run faster or harder to kill or give the player a stamina gauge to restrict him and makes him manage it, but overall I liked the game and that you tried something different with a survivor game.

I think I understand what you are trying to say, I agree a stamina gauge or faster zombies would make the game a lot harder and fun. From my experience of making jam games is to make games easy as most people just want to finish the game ASAP and move onto the next one, so I decided to make the gameplay much easier but I personally like games in which enemies are harder to kill with more responsive inputs and decision making as you mentioned.
