Well, not everyone likes or wants to use discord/patreon. On itch, if there hasnt been an update in over a year, to me it doesnt really matter if its dead or not. Im not going to follow an AVN for 10 years waiting for it to be completed. But that's just me.
for some games its worth it to wait. like for eternum or rippels and more games like that. tho with good games its usualy quality over speed when it comes to updates.
