Nice little game! The controls feel really good and I love the visual style. I didn’t make it to the end because I died quite a lot—so just wondering: do the coins actually do something, or are they just there to encourage exploration?
Thanks for playing. The coins currently don't do anything except give the player something to collect. I was going to have a counter in the UI displaying how many had been collected and use it as a score at the end but I ran out of time.
