I clicked normal mode and was still stick spam clicking skip for 30 seconds and then I gave up. Seemed like an interesting idea but I don't play roguelikes to see walls of text

My apologies; the marketing definitely communicates that it's more gameplay than story focused despite that not being case. The game is quite heavily narrative-driven. I apologise for the game not suiting your preferences.

Add a way to skip text. Like holding down space or smth.

I don't wanna be that guy, but it does say that it's narrative driven and the screenshots do show off the visual novel stuff.
