You made a bullet hell type of game that both the members of our team who liked this style and those who aren't as fond of it had a lot of fun.  Great job!

The skill tree was well implemented.  The way it was split was really cool and we liked how the upgrades worked.   We also really liked being able to toggle the character animation and the background pulse on and off.   It meant each of us could play with the way that best suited us.

I  wouldn't normally add a toggle option like that to a jam game, but my one play-tester said the pulse hurt his eyes, and because the jam encourages accessibility, I said "why not?" It feels like I'm adding an option so you can remove content (that I spent a while making), so it feels a little counter intuitive. I'm glad it was useful, even if it was only for two of you.

My first thought when I saw the option was "Oh, sweet!  There's an option that makes the game more accessible!"  The pulse and the animation are really cool effects, but can be a little overwhelming with everything else on screen, so being able to turn them off or on let me enjoy them and take a break when needed while still playing.
