I have a lot to say about this game, and none of it is negative.

The essence of the game is incredible, these games are infinitely replayable. The game's art is beautiful, everything is very fluid, and the music makes me go into survival mode and stay active.

The part that interests me most, and is my field of study, is the design. They did it in a brutal way. I love the concept that the ammunition you use is also your life; in this way, it's a unique resource, and the entire game revolves around this.

The enemy design, behavior, and attack types are not only very well polished, but also well designed. The worm is key to generating that moment when you have to move through the other projectiles, but it forces you to stay in a circle (unless you kill it), which doesn't make it easy at all. It's exactly what the game needs to be fun for any length of time.

I can only congratulate you; it's one of the best games of the jam I've played so far.

Even outside of the jam, upgrades can be added in the future that continue the mechanics of ammo being your life, so that it can be your currency, so that the leftover meat from level to level (if you progress) can be used to buy upgrades, and so on.

This gives you that huge reward for not taking damage.

Sorry for so much text, I just loved it. Here's a screenshot of my record; I didn't lose; I just crashed the game due to too many entities in my browser ;D

(+1)

Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback and sorry for the crash. I tried to keep everything performant and clean up unused objects but apparently that wasn’t good enough for a web build. Either that or I must have missed some objects leaking. Maybe its the body parts just piling up and we did think about allowing the player to sacrifice them for upgrades like you also suggested but well, the deadline said otherwise :D

Anyways, glad you liked our game and congrats on the high score!

Don't apologize, it was excellent, in fact, my goal when I understood it was to play it until I generated as many entities.
