That one is not a bug actually. Point of that is so player don't have to wait for her to enter the room. And if player sends her out for finding ghost room you will not know exact what room's temperature is currently display if you are in the truck.
But the temperature does not show the room where the assistant is, but the room where I am. The assistant is on the first floor at this time, and the final ghost room is indeed in the room where I am.
