Sounds exciting, although a 2 player mode with bots would also work well. The CD32 can also be easily expanded today with HD and keyboard. One or the other could also play via keyboard. Then you don't have so much trouble with the gamepad assignment.
oh i've tried keyboard, it was there for quite a while but caused me no end of problems. 😅 Things that work well under emulation flake out on real amiga keyboards as they don't always support the amount of simultaneous button presses per line needed. Bots are definitely a long term plan but scorpion engine really needs a few new features first.
