Such a cool game. Very moody, I really felt lonely and kinda scared in the deep dark caves! It was great with checkpoints, since I kept dying to stupid overconfident jumps xD

  • (+) Mood/Tone was great, and the environment was really nice and scary
  • (+) Climbing mechanic was neat, and the way you expanded it with different kinds of climbable rocks felt like a natural progress that required more and more control
  • (-) The only thing I really struggled with was the aiming when jumping. I liked that the crosshair changed depending on if you could reach or not, but it was very hard to grab onto rocks while jumping. Either because the camera/player was falling too fast, or because the zone for the crosshair was a bit unforgiving. That would be my suggestion for improvement.

Scary but lovely game, great job!

Thank you so much Josie! Yes, making it “feel more responsive” is definetly one of the next TODOs for this game. Currently there is no leniancy in terms of timing or aiming, so it can feel a bit unfair at times.
