I honestly really like this VN and the direction it's taking, especially when it comes to the psychological horror, the terror of the player, and the imperfections the characters have, even the main, of course. Slight spoiling ahead!

It's really interesting how the ending makes us wonder how much we hallucinated and how much was real, that's a REALLY solid base for the plot, not to mention the implications this has with Kai. Personally, I doubt he'll be generally painted in a negative spot, evil always lurks from the unexpected, but I assume the idea with this was to enforce the thought that no one is to be trusted. I like that a lot!
As for the romantic aspect, I saw some earlier reviews talking about the confession and all being quite sudden, and maybe I'd agree, but it depends. I've read quite a few visual novels because I am a lonely furry, and I can say this one had me hooked immediately, so it's definitely doing its job correctly, and I have no criticism in regards to the pacing used.
There's doubt, there's uncertainty, regret, then equilibrium and short-lived peace. It feels very well shaped out, even as an early part of a much larger story, and I look forward to how it's going to develop.
I do hope that the villain(s), whoever they might be, won't follow the classic trope of being easily defeated, as I appreciate fluctuation and cohesiveness (to some extent, especially in a story where the characters already feel human and dynamic) AND passion! Please have fun writing this.
