I definitely would love to see the cap for things able to be increased via certain unlocks and events. So far, things cap at 4, but what I would love to see is the caps raised to 8 or even 12. BUT with a catch!

To unlock these higher tiers, you have to do very specific events and unlocks. For intelligence, it might be via harder courses and events, and once you have it, you have it.

For Charm and Muscle, your max increases, but there is a catch. Legally, you can only ever be up to a certain size in certain areas. So pushing beyond that, outside of those could see yourself being requested to be drained down, or they limit your size in some way. It may already be in effect, or maybe you just need to do some ritual to get those larger sizes and keep them.

This also means the first requirement to reach these higher sizes is the improved SAD, so that you can change your size on the fly to comply with regulations around town.

This way, the players can still earn higher and higher max sizes (bigger numbers go brrr for the brain), yet you can keep the player in a very specific size range for events and situations, with better control for the events and how things play out.

So I imagine there will eventually be a police station (or sheriff's station at least, that could upgrade into a police station) and Town Hall, where events can take place. Sometimes Libraries can also act as town halls, or vice versa, in case you want to start the town with those buildings put together.

That brings me to some other ideas, such as building renovations and upgrading locations (both to allow for bigger sizes IN those areas, letting them be higher-tier zones, and also to reach higher relationship levels with individuals).

And ya know, the chance of learning more magic (which could be gotten at the highest tier of magic) could be interesting.

These are just some thoughts and ideas, but they could certainly be of use for the construction site beyond the Onsen.

And while it likely won't happen, I wouldn't mind visiting the town with all the guys, just cause.

(Also, just more outfits and things, and furniture to buy.)

Thank you for your ideas!

The idea of making higher size levels and intelligence level tied to certain events or unlocks is interesting, it could make it more manageable.

The problem will always be the amount of images needed for each size and the fact that making bigger sizes can lead to big inconsistencies in the characters but I'll think about it.

That "police station" or regulation about the size is interesting but it could feel too restrictive, if I implement something like that it will probably be an automatic limit, more "mystical" like a rule that's just in the area and auto enforces itself.

I have been thinking for a while in a building for special events with more characters but the fact that writing an event with too many characters is harder is stopping me a bit, I may revisit this idea in the future.

Upgrading some buildings would be an interesting mechanic but I'd need to think about how to balance it, using the construction site as nexus for that would give it too much importance so maybe using plain money... I'll think about it, that could give more uses to the money in game.

More clothes are definitely planned, one of them is already teased in game!

I'll keep thinking and developing the game with care (even if I end up missing some bugs until the reports come, sorry for that!).

I only suggested a sheriff and such just to make the town feel a little fuller (and someone in uniforms too, cause that can be hot)
I'd likely add a town hall OR make the library also act as a town hall, a place where events could happen every so often, and have content with more of the town interacting. But again, your probably right, large character events can take quite a bit of effort.

And for the inconsistency issue, is why I suggested either requiring a micro SAD purchase of your own, which can take some effort to get, which would add a SAD to the menu right below stats, but also, make you auto adjust in certain areas, to enforce consistency in scenes and areas in a logical sense, maybe with a little mention of your size auto compressing as you enter so you aren't being taken out of left field by your size restriction.

And if you want to lessen the importance of the construction site, an option could be that doing the work on the construction site speeds up how quickly the buildings come in, but they will be done regardless of whether you participate or not. So it's a build speed booster, but not mandatory.
Of course, the building can only happen after it's been funded and approved as well.

Thanks for considering my words, and I am more than happy to share more words, discussions, and ideas in the future, as they come to me.

I'll see what can I do.

I need to keep in mind the limitations that the language and my skills create.

I don't think that a dynamic S.A.D. as that is a lot harder to implement without breaking stuff.

The building system is something that I need to think about!

Then just have a narrative advanced SAD that is required to access the higher tiers, without any mechanics behind it.

But thanks on hearing me out, and sorry for being a bother. Just replying with ideas. Keep up the good work!
