  • Nice art, interesting concept. The camera not following properly was kind of a problem is what eventually led to my death from getting killed offscreen. I like that it started with harmless chicken to hel^p the player understand. Was a bit tedious to go pick up all the dead animals one by one to get your money. I wish there was some audio. Nice entry.

Did you work alone, or as part of a group? (If in a group, list their names)
I worked alone.

Disclose if you used any public domain assets or not.
No, all assets are made by me.

The game was nice! I do feel like there was too much camera smoothing though. As I couldn't see where I was going and many times got attacked by a wolf because of it

The cool art-style makes up for the lack of sound, those chickens never stood a chance.
Nice work, especially since you made all he assets by yourself :)

I mostly echo what some others here have said, the camera follow is too slow and some sounds would be quite nice. But you've got yourself a nice concept and I liked the art, so good job on your first game jam!

Very well done!

Nice effect with the flash light and not sure if it was intentional but the slow camera makes you very nervous to just run in blind. The wolves killed me super quick the first time when I wasn’t prepared. Some audio would really make the game pop

I like the atmosphere of the game, the light is a great addition. Definitely has potential for more, keep it up :D

For a game that was made in only 5 days, it has a lot of potential. I'm a big fan of the retro/dark vibe it gives, and the pixel art is really cool. You definitely have talent. :)

I'm a fan. It's short. It's cute.

It does have it's flaws, but I think the other comment described it better than I ever would, so I won't bore you with that.

Despite starting late, you made a game you can be proud of. Good luck with the ratings!

Funny little game! I'm not sure if it's intentional, but the camera doesn't quite keep up with the player's movement — which makes you move more cautiously, since otherwise you're kind of going in blind. I did miss having some sounds though — they could really add to the atmosphere.
