Thank you! Dang...you're the second person now that has reported that bug and I can't seem to recreate it myself...can I ask what browser you played the game in?
Firefox 138.0.1 (64-bit) on Ubuntu. I tried a second time and didn't get the bug again.
Now that I could play more levels I think your game has nice difficulty scaling. It starts easy and gets more difficult over time. (I think you did this way better than me and also many other entries I played) I would just like the difficulty to scale a bit more quickly e.g. exponential growth of pirates
