Would you mind sharing your thoughts on a new game idea I'm working on, called GUNSHIP contract missions? Your opinion would really help me improve it.

GUNSHIP: Contract Missions throws players into the cockpit of a lone mercenary pilot in a shattered, toxic pollution world on the edge of collapse. Inspired by the classic Strike series, this game revives retro helicopter combat with a modern edge. Take on high-risk missions, fly deep into enemy territory, and fight for survival. what do you think? Your feedback will help shape the game.

We’re still early in development, but here’s a glimpse of our latest progress! If you’re excited to see how the game evolves, don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for updates and behind-the-scenes content.

Nice video! I can see the game concept from the video.

My biggest issue is how do you aim your shots? you're not expecting player to shoot all the time then steer the chopper until the shots hit desired spot, are you?

I hope the camera doesn't move too much like in the video cause it would be hard to control the chopper and anticipate enemies' shots.

Hi, thank you for your feedback!
The helicopter automatically targets the nearest enemy within a 60-degree visual detection cone. For manual aiming, use the center of the screen as your reference point.
To effectively evade enemy fire is to keep the helicopter moving, circling, and maneuvering. You can dodge left and right, but don't stay in place too long.

Design missions in a way thats compelling. Like, have people in a building and you have to shoot the things trying to get in the building. You can even have a picture of the people in the mission preamble. This will have people more invested on a human level beyond getting high scores and it creates a timed tension. And darkbloodbane makes even better points about aiming and control.

Thank you for your suggestions and feedback. Yes, we will create missions such as escort missions, responding to requests for support during a group’s battle, hostage rescues, target destruction, and more.
