Finally, somebody combined my two favorite things: Mass Effect and horny furries.

I got the feeling just from the "Warnings" page that I was going to like the writing style here, and the rest of the game did not disappoint. Dialogue is sharp and snappy but never feels unrealistic, and I think the work you've put in to make all the characters feel like actual people with flaws and positives and not just one-note tropes is exceptional. Personally only Zuberi and Celeia really do anything for me romantically (though I haven't entirely given up on Sam and Tulemeni yet), but everyone on the crew is someone that I'd like to get to know better as our adventure progresses. I will say though that I read in another comment that Obaa will not be romanceable. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. You made a better EDI and then immediately friendzoned me. Unbelievable :P

I also really like how you're handling the lore and the setting of the Void Dreamer and its mission, and I'm interested in seeing where the plot actually goes since presumably it's not just going to be space summer camp forever.

My only real concern here is that this VN is ambitious. Like real ambitious. This is already being somewhat managed at this stage with everything more or less going to the same place (e.g., no matter your background there's always something you have to choose to come clean about to the crew or lie about) but there are still a lot of variables to juggle as paths and routes presumably begin to branch out a bit more. I think you're already also getting a good start on managing this through the efforts at transparency, and I really hope you can keep that up because if you can this is going to be something really special :)

First, thank you so much for the very kind review! It really means the world to me!

I'm so very sorry regarding Obaa's lack of a romance path, but unfortunately Rael is just too much of a meaty fleshbag to appeal to her godlike mechanical sensibilities. You'll have to settle for some of the rest of the crew to romance, but I'm sure she's well aware of the fact that you, like all mortal, organic fleshlings, adore her. As you should. And while I'm not sure I made a better EDI, Obaa is absolutely certain of that fact.

Void Dreaming is absolutely an ambitious project, and I absolutely understand the concern about the number of variables in play! It's not going to be easy, but fortunately for everyone involved I'm stubborn and just crazy enough to do it anyway. Fortunately, as some of the blog posts have pointed out, Void Dreaming only has one narrative route though it. How you make it through that narrative and the choices you make that affect the outcome, though? That's all you!

I want this to be something truly special, and I really hope that my ambition and my execution are enough to convince people to support the project so I can bring it to life the way it deserves to be. And hey, if you need any more assurance that I'm working my backside off for this, there's always the Patreon; you can see just how much crazier it gets; they're already on the first half of Day 3 over there!

No no, you definitely made a better EDI. I always felt the original was missing something and she might just have needed Obaa's sprinkling of HK-47 energy to really push her over the edge. But I will continue to regret that she does not have a sexy robot body with which to pulverize Rael's pelvis.

I apologize if I had missed anything about the overall structure in the blog posts (of which there is delightfully a lot of text) and I also apologize for misspelling Caleia's name in the original comment. I doubt she'll sleep with Rael after that blunder so we're really striking out here.

Duly noted on the sales pitch - I'll check out the Patreon and maybe you'll see this username pop up there too :)

Then I'll take the better-than-EDI compliment in the spirit it's intended, and be very grateful! And hey, who knows? Maybe there can be a sexy robot body to download herself into, and you can be like, "Sweet. Yes." Oh, memes...

No apologies are needed, either! There's a lot to go through in those blog posts, and I hope you find them informative and (hopefully also) entertaining! I can't forgive you for the Caleia typo; no doubt she's already en route with a generous serving of arse-kicking deliciously delivered. Whether or not that's something you're into is a question I leave to you!

Heh, I don't like sales pitch stuff to be honest; I'm not very good at it, either. I don't want to put financial strain on anyone just to fund my work! But hey, if you happen to find your way over there, I do hope you enjoy what's available! I know the Discord's been all abuzz about it, too!
